Policies

Special Collection materials must be handled with great care. We encourage the use of the materials, yet set limitations to protect them for future researchers. Use of the collections is subject to some terms and conditions. Therefore, users are advised to follow the rules and regulations of the section.

  1. All materials are for ROOM USE only.
  2. Only PENCILS are allowed for note taking.
  3. Use of GLOVES is required for handling photographs.
  4. Photocopying is not allowed on certain restricted materials.
  5. Restricted use on books with a surrogate copy and those on archival boxes.
  6. Scanning and documents/photographs must be done with mylar placed over the scanner's screen.

Research fees are charged for special services:

P25.00/Diskette

Photo Reproduction

P100.00/picture (minimum of 5 pictures)

P500.00/hour for documentary film reproduction

Printing
